Hi all,
I recently picked up my 2021 K5 GT-Line and love it. However, I notice one thing i can't seem to figure out - coming from drving a 2017 Sportage SX. Any time I would get close to an object in the front of the car, come too close to another car, a person walk in front - the 2017 Sportage SX would make an audiable warning beeps.
I was under the impression this was standard with the K5, I see the menu options for Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) or
Kia Forward Collision Warning (FCW) on the main steering options, I can change from Assist or Warning only. However - the new K5 will not make ANY warning noises in any tests I've tried. Going into my garage is tight, and would set off the old Sportage as i parked. My girlfriend would walk in front of the Sportage and it would beep - she's not big at all!
Any ideas?
Thanks so much.
