I purchased my 2022 K5 GT-Line on Aug 7 2021. On Aug 17 my wife were taking the car to the store in the afternoon and realized that the A/C was not working. The day I took the car to the dealer, 8/19, the a/c was perfect and the service agent told me not to leave the car since we couldn't replicate the problem. 4 hours later, there was no a/c again and I took the car to the dealer. The service tech admitted that he had experienced this problem with other KIA cars and it seemed to be a problem with the computer thinking the engine was overheating shutting the a/c compressor.
