Hmmm That was going to be my next step after all this if it gets settled. Youve had your car for a while now though.Yes I have. Multiple times already . Still having the same issues.
Yeah I have . The amount of issues I’ve had since I bought it are ridiculous. Long story short I’ hired myself a lawyer cause of the amount of issues I’ve been having since day 1 and no one not even the manufacturer were of any help resolving anything. Trial is a few months away.Hmmm That was going to be my next step after all this if it gets settled. Youve had your car for a while now though.
Im so sorry to hear you are going through troubles as well. I know how you feel, this has been very stressful and emotionally draining for me as well. I hope you get it figured out and resolved correctly and I pray for the same for myself. It ****ty to feel like theres nothing you can do.Yeah I have . Yeah I was getting frustrated when the manufacturer were of no help . They gave me a case number then never got back to me . I reached out multiple times and nothing. So I had to do what I needed to do being that I put a lot of money out for this “brand new car” . I hope you get your issues resolved. I’ll keep ya posted on the outcome of my case.Im so sorry to hear you are going through troubles as well. I know how you feel, this has been very stressful and emotionally draining for me as well. Mine is a lease, not so easy to do unfortunately. :/ I love Toyota though!Sorry you're all having to go to such lengths to get issues resolved. I got so tired of fighting with the Dayton, OH area Kia dealers, and with Kia corporate, that I just threw in the towel and traded my 1-year-old K5 EX Premium for a Toyota Camry XSE. I'm getting too darn old for the stress. It was worth it to me to pony up the additional $ to have peace of mind. I know not everyone has the resources to do that and I feel for you.
If there’s another dealer in the area try them. I have a friend that needed his seatbelt replaced the dealer where he bought the car told him it wasn’t covered under the warranty and it would be $1800.00 to replace he took the car to another dealer and then replaced under the warranty.I am losing my faith on if this will ever be resolved. Since around roughly 500 miles I have been back-and-forth to the dealership regarding my alignment not being in spec, the steering wheel is tilted to the left, if I make it straight the car pulls to the right. The last time they adjusted it all of the specifications were not in par; example toe, caster, thrust. this time around they were able to get the alignment in specifications and reset the steering angle sensor, it handles much better now however the steering wheel is still tilted to the left so I have to bring it back next week. I am now at a little over 1000 miles and very discouraged, it is upsetting to have a new car and know it is not handling correctly. I don’t understand why something so simple is so complicated to get right.
I did try another dealer in the area. They made it worse than the original dealer LOL.If there’s another dealer in the area try them. I plan on bringing it to a local reputable shop. My fear is even after they touch it it still wont be fixed… I just feel very lost in this situation and it hurts.I would just pay out of pocket at this point and have an alignment shop do it for 100 bucks. Less hassle than a dealer. They never get an alignment right, ever ..
If that does not work, contact Attorney General, kia corporate, GM of store letting them know you are prepared to escalate this and that you are not going away. Also do a Google review on dealer(professional but put them on blast).. Good luck buddy. Hope you get it figured outI plan on bringing it to a local reputable shop. Thanks… when I first started having this issue the GM drove it the first time and claimed it was fine, the next two times I brought it in service said they had to make adjustment but both times would not provide an alignment printout even though I specified. When I called corporate about it it became a “he said she said” match and they claimed since the service advisor and main tech could not find anything wrong they said there was nothing they can do on their end to resolve the situation for me.If that does not work, contact Attorney General, kia corporate, GM of store letting them know you are prepared to escalate this and that you are not going away. Its funny I actually just got off the phone with Venice and she remembered you. She said you were very nice. She is a sweetheart! They are going to look over the car throughly this week. Before having the shop do the alignment right away, have them get it checked out and see if there are any other issues that may be causing the alignment issue to persist.
