2023 Kia K5 GT-Line Auto Dimming and Homelink Mirror has no electrical power

Why did my mirror just quit working? it has no power or lights at all I checked fuses and they were good wiring and hookups look good

I had mine installed after I bought the car. They installed it for me as I insisted on getting the mirror since I found another dealer with the same trim and color for about the same asking price, but had the mirror included with that price.

If it was installed by the dealer then I'm thinking that there might be a wire that got jostled loose up top where they tapped into the power wires for the upper console.

I have installed factory accessory powered mirrors on Fortes and Optimas (not a K5 yet). Most of the vehicles that did not come with a powered mirror did not have any wiring at the top of the windshield - instead I had to run the kit's wiring across the top of the windshield and down the Pillar post to the fuse box area. All the kits' used a snap-type connector and, if it is dealer installed, it's possible the connector is not providing a good connection.

Look for a power connector in this area (in-dash fuse box) - also look at the ground wire:
