BLOCK HEATER

Hi, has anyone installed a block heater yet? Does it still slide into the block on the left side? Is it best to just purchase from dealer and install yourself?

I requested the dealership install a block heater in my '21 K5 GT.
It added $202.93 to the bill of sale, so for the parts and installation, I was happy.
That's where the story should end but it doesn't...
