Today I received an email from RockAuto that the brake kits from Powerstop for the K5 have been discontinued and will never be in stock again. I've already had my rotors replaced once under warranty due to being warped. We all know this is a very common problem on the K5's. When it comes time to do my brakes I definitely will not use OEM rotors as a replacement. Does anyone know of a QUALITY set of rotors that are also IN STOCK and available for the K5?

Guess I’m super lucky. Got 115k out of the OEM’s. Have you found a suitable replacement?

which K5 version do you have? I know my GT has larger brakes than the other versions.

I was surprised to find that neither Detroitaxles or R1Concepts carry rotors or pads for the K5 yet. Hopefully they will be providing brakes for the K5 in the future...

I have R1Concepts drilled and slotted rotors on my 2021 Forte GT - and I don't have any problems with them. I put the drilled and slotted rotors on mostly for "eye-candy".
