I dont believe you can. I looked in the owners manual and nothing shows how to change the mileage service intervals. The 8k, 16k, 24k, etc are standard maintenance intervals done by KIA

I am a5k guy for decades. Easy to keep up with and don't have to do any figuring. Save the receipts for the oil changes in your owners manual and no need for a spredsheet or anything difficult and time consuming (Thi incluses all maintenance and repairs.

I read the owners manual. It says to take a pic of the receipt and mileage together. This is to help with warranty coverage.

I change my oil every 5k. Except I did my 1st at 1k miles. My 2nd will be done at 4k. Then KIA will do the 8k service. I will likely have KIA do the 16k, 24k, etc. This will be documented in their system for future sale of the car
