K5 owners,

I have decided to wrap my chrome around the windows. Has anyone done this themselves or what the average price will be.... I don't have the patience to do it myself even though I would save $$.

Here’s a pic of my wrapped chrome trim. I did it myself and took about 4 hours. It was $65 for the roll. However I just recently added wind/rain visors that go on the door trims and it completely covers the chrome trim. So I didn’t even need to vinyl wrap the door trim but oh well. Just the pieces on the rear qtr panels and the back trunk if you decide to add the wind visors.

I used the gloss and I preferred it over matte. Good luck!

Very Nice, where did you purchase the 3M vinyl? I've seen some references to a 4" roll being available, but I've not located a source of supply, especially in Canada. For under $100 this is definitely something I'd like to try. If my K5 is ever delivered :-( it's coming from West Point. -- John

Thanks, looks like I may have wrap before my K5.
Car looks good, what length of the wrap did you have to purchase?

The wrap looks great! how did you go about wrapping the whole piece? Did you have to pull the chrome parts out or you were able to wrap it without taking any of the pieces off?
Does anyone know if the 2" wide roll will work for the chrome delete. There's that part just after the rear door that's wider than the rest of the trim.
Where did you get your spoiler? Got more pics?
Stock spoiler comes with every GT-Line and GT trims. The spoiler uses adhesives and bolts to hold it in place.
