Hi all, as for Android Auto is concern, once you have plugged in your Samsung phone(not sure about other brands) and you have downloaded Android Auto onto the phone. You won't need to plug it in again. I watch a video on Youtube and this guy shows how easy it is. After the first time you have set up, make sure your bluetooth is paired/activated and then turn your wifi on. Your music, whether Pandora, Sirius XM and others will start up and google maps will be at the ready on the pane on the right. Every time i leave my car and come back to it, start up, it automatically asks for confirmation, tap it and boom there you go. you don't need the cord any longer. Oh, and you still can wireless charge your phone at the same time. Hope this helps..............
