It's been almost 5 months since we bought our K5 and started talking to Kia about serious wind noise.
It only occurs on the driver's side and we notified Kia almost right after we purchased the car.
They rejected our request for an exchange because the problem doesn't warrant it, under VA state law.
However, we bought their car because we trusted Kia, not the state.
This is between Kia and their customers.
We sent them videos and the numbers on the decibel meter which significantly shows the problem.
One time I was driving with my friend and she said she heard the noise and it was very embarrassing because it is a new car and the noise was so loud!!! Should I be embarrassed every time someone is in my car, after paying $30,000 for a new one???
After so many calls and emails for several months they finally told us that they may give us some type of compensation 2 weeks ago but they still silent, and not replying to my emails.

Kia always told us they will contact us but they hardly ever called, so we have to keep calling them.
I feel like I got scammed.

When were your cars manufactured? I haven't done a lot of driving since getting my car last week, but I haven't noticed any noise coming from the drivers side window. My car is a GT-Line AWD with a manufacture date of February 2021.

I am going through EXACTLY the same thing! They said you can try lemon law but that's more trips to the shop, this and that. Dealer told me it's a manufacturer defect and I havw to take it up with Kia, didn't want to/nor suggest serving it. Idk what to do.
