Watching the news recently talking about how vluable ctlitic converters are. I was wondering what my OEM exhaust might be worth piping and catlitic converter since I installed the borla exhaust.

don't need it any more and just sitting the closet. if I could get several 100 dollars for it would get rid of it in a quick minute.

It depends on how much palladium and platinum is in it that drives the cost up. Only the catalytic converter is sought after. Not so much the piping.

Ask your local recycler to see what its worth. Might need to bring your car and registration with vin# for verification. Here in Seattle, they are trying to pass a law that requires all recyclers to verify that cat with registration with vin# that it came from your car.

I am good with that, will be driving the car it came off of when delivering the item to the recycler. The piping I have no use for and looks to be some version of stainless and runs about 23 cents a pound down her and is around 50 pounds so will get maybe 25 bucks for that part.
