Are you sure? I have a front plate on mine because it's required in Rhode Island. You're going to really make me go check now lol I think I have a bracket on it too.
Mine too did not come with one (Maryland has that dumb law as well). I've skated by with a warning for saying the part was on back order, but I know that won't last forever as the car isn't as new anymore. I'm going to zip tie it to the lower grill for when I make a run to the beach in a few weeks, but I'll be looking at aftermarket mounts for it for something more permanent and not blocking off the radiator on that half of the grill.
I really dont want the dealer to drill into the bumper. Was looking for a relocation kit, but almost all of them use the tow hook. Which by the way, where is that even located on the K5? Might do the same and zip tie til I find something that works.

The dealer put the plates on with their plate holder.

So, tried the zip ties over the weekend, not a solution without resizing the plate, as it's just a hair too big, and to get the zip ties to function correctly, you'd need to drill through the plastic, as the vents aren't fully across the front end.

We do need a better solution, as I currently have it tucked in the dashboard to stop being stopped, but it sits there and rattles it's ever-loving *** off and it's annoying.
Looking for a better idea than having dealer drill into the bumper.
Maybe something like this to attach to the lower grille? If you don't have the radar shield for the radar, you can mount it more towards the center than off to the side.

I can't say how well they work but I've had good experiences with the company and their LED products so far.

I’m ordering from Amazon. Will post if it’s successful!!
@KiaK52022
Did you order it already? You may want to hold off on buying that one for now and shop around first. This one comes with inserts for a diamond-shaped mesh holes on the lower bumper grille so I'm not sure how well it will fit the 2021+ Kia K5 with its more open and parallel lower grille.

Yes ordered. I work for Kohls and they have Free Amazon returns. Thought I’d try it out.
Oh ok, that's cool. Yeah, I just didn't want you to purchase a product if it doesn't fit... lol But they are good with honoring returns through Amazon. I mistakenly bought the wrong license plate LED replacement from them, I just returned them and bought the right set.

If anything, I highly recommend getting their LED trunk light replacement. It makes the trunk super bright and usable at night and is an exact replacement for the original light housing part.

Nice. I’ll check it out. I really want a bigger cargo net. Hoping Kia comes out with it soon. Thought about getting the delete trim for it but it would probably Void my warranty.

I think your warranty should be fine as long as it's just minor cosmetic changes and doesn't modify critical components like the engine and exhaust.

Also, just to give you an idea of what the stock halogen festoon trunk lights look like compared to the LEDs at night...

That's the inside of my trunk, before and after changing the lights. I matched the parts number it replaces just to make sure it's the right one (92601-3M000).

Did the same with the license plate lights, too. lol

So what I got off Amazon is a front plate mount that goes under the bumper. It mounts up and you can slide your plate under the bumper if you want. Waiting for my plates to come in so I can post pictures of it. It’s the best option to not drill into our bumpers which I’m never a fan of.

A friend of mine suggested that I just keep my license plate in the glove box If I get pulled over. Let them know I’m waiting on a Kit from Kia since it’s a new vehicle. 2022. 😎😂
Yeah...pretty much 😂 Additionally, you can have the license plate number printed on a paper and put on the corner of the windshield in the mean time. lol Hey, it's not like you don't have your front license plate with you or that you don't have the number shown somewhere from the front, right?

I too was looking for ideas for the front license plate. I may buy one of these STO N SHO ones and see if it will work. I really don't want to drill a bunch of holes in my front bumper for the oem bracket.
