Has anyone PPF'd the piano black side pillars ??

I was going to. But never did it. Saw someone do a matte black over the piano side pillars and it looked good

I like the gloss black pillars personally. Everything on my side is gloss (rims,mirrors,door handles, pillars), so i feel matte would throw it off. I just like them better when they look clean. I will post pics next month after I polish and ppf them

The matte black pillars are on all standard K5s. The glossy black side pillars are only on those with the Premium Package, though. lol I personally like the glossy black look myself. Everything else already looks shiny, so it just matches everything else. I don't like how easily it scratches but I'll make due with it. At least the interior of the GT-Line isn't glossy black all around so it makes things easier to clean on the inside.

Ya my mazda cx5 had glossy black on inside and I hated it. The k5 is easy to clean. Ya I didn't want a k5 without the panoramic roof, that's how you get gloss pillars. I was just next to my same car but they had no panoramic and were driving slow as hell. Mine looked way better passing it 😂

Pretty sure gt comes with panoramic. So I'm guessing every gt has gloss black pillars, so does every EX. The gt line with panoramic package also gets it.
