Kia K5 GT Line: Forward collision avoidance assist (FCA) system disabled . Radar blocked

Hi ,
I have got this message in dashboard when driving in very light rain/snow yesterday .
"Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA) system disabled. Radar blocked"

after restarting the car , how ever it went away

anything to worry about ???

I don’t believe so. Happened to me in similar conditions. The sensor that is on the lower front grill/bumper area got blocked by snow making the sensor unable to “see” so that’s why the message came up. From the time shutting off to the time turning back on the snow or film from the rain and road salt must’ve cleared up enough for the sensor to re engage.

This also happened to me, I went and washed my car quick and once the salt was all off of it, it was fine.

My FCA completely failed. Had a wild sneeze attack. Next thing I know, every airbag in the car blown out.

Did they find a resolution after that happened? Mine is doing the same. I don’t to be driving then this happens
