I kinda wanted to do it around 1500 miles but had to wait for the stock filters coming from a Kia dealership.

I live in AZ but went ahead and used 0W-20 since it was what was already on there. I've seen people using 5W-30 also but maybe depending on your climate..

I have a floor jack and jack stands but was not able to locate any jackpoints from both front and rear.. so I thought it would be the best just getting ramps from a local walmart for $40.. I have two vehicles so this should definitely come in handy..

When I checked the oil level, it was at Full which I think it's about 5Qt. (I think it's 4.8Qt for drain & fill to be exact)

Be aware, the original washer tends to get stuck at the oil pan so you make sure take it off by using a flat head driver.. I've seen some ppl put two washers without knowing that there's already one stuck there..

The stock one's painted (black) so it's easy to recognize once it's out

One thing to note that, make sure to put some masking tape near the drain hole so you wouldn't make mess on the guard underneath.
