I've had the car about 4 weeks now and have made a few modifications so far...

Changes made:
  • Wheels are Verona M168 18x8.5 gloss black
  • Windows (front, back and rear) tinted at 36% ceramic
  • Kia Sport Pedals (L3F05)
  • Radar is Valentine 1 Gen 2
  • Front and rear dashcam is BlackVue DR750X Plus 2CH
  • Blendmount mirror mounts for radar and front camera
  • In car hotspot via Harman Spark (getting replaced with BlackVue CM100)
A few photos of the car:

They are a few people on here looking for stock rims, if you're not interested in keeping them.

That looks like an awesome set up. I didn't know they made mounts that actually clamps on the mirror instead! One of the things I always worry about with dash cams or any window mounted devices are the suction cups coming off over time, especially in places with high heat.

When I had my YI in my Impreza, I bought a universal arm attachment similar for clamping on the mirror. For mine, I just had to make sure the mounting ball (where it pivots) was the same size to snap the camera onto the new arm mount. Then again, it had a silver face, which stood out too much, so I sanded it and colored it with black permanent marker, then cleaned it with alcohol so it had a matte black finish and hid behind the mirror :giggle:

I figured someone would ask what the view is when the Blendmount is used as opposed to putting directly on the windshield..
Looks super solid. Can you turn the mic off for the rear camera?

Also, does the camera operate at a high refresh rate in a higher resolution? Or is it like most, they only record 60 and higher on 1080p..

Yes in the front video I had it turned off and in the rear video I had it turned on.. There is only one setting that controls the mic and it controls / is applied to both cameras at the same time. The setting is either on or off and it's applied to both cameras...

The camera has several settings. You can run the front at 60FPS max but the rear will only run at 30FPS max..

Thank you. Have you ever had the 590? I’m trying to figure out if the 750 is worth the extra $$

No I did not sorry.

This is my 1st BlackVue.. In the past I've used Thinkware and Garmin dashcams..

I am very happy with the camera. I also replaced my Harman Spark (in car wifi hotspot) with the BlackVue CM100 for the BlackVue could service and am very happy with that was well.
