Is it easy to do it ourself ??
So I am experience as I do this for a living for General Motors all the accessories that they offer as well as other brands, but I wouldn't say that this is hard when you get the new emblems you're going to tape up the old ones with blue painter's tape around the whole perimeter of the old emblem, if you do it on a hot day with the sun on it you won't need to so use a heat gun. Once it is warmed up by the Sun or the heat gun you can take a credit card and work your way around underneath the emblem until it starts to loosen up slowly pulling towards you carefully work it around the emblem and eventually it will come off. What's off make sure you get all the old tape off, and then alcohol the area that the new emblem will go in. Full of the tape off and then lightly align the new emblem without pressing down so you can still pull it up and move it if you have to

Greetings.. I obtained the 7 piece set from the K5 Optima Store as well. When ordering just make sure you select the 2021 option. The hood and deck lid emblems are a bit smaller than the ones that come on the car. When removing the old emblems, if you heat them up real good with a heat gun or blow dryer you will be able to lift them off pretty easily. The steering wheel emblem was a bit more of a challenge. You will want to pull the fuse for the horn to do it.

What you don't like scaring the christ out of yourself 20 times just for an emblem? :ROFLMAO:

@DBKC another Missourian opted for the red badges :) Those look really good if you are not going to dechrome anything.
I'll be removing all the chrome. View attachment 505 View attachment 506
Hey !! Yea.. I will also delete all chrome eventually. I had the roof and roof rails wrapped, rotors painted ***** red and the wheels are getting powder coated all black on Tuesday... Now if KIA would find a fix for the cooling system all would be good. Ha
