P049D code check engline light

I have a 2021 Kia K5 LXS 1.6T 8 speed automatic. I am only at 31,000 miles and have had all my maintenance taken care of early or exactly on time. I have had no issues until now. I was driving around yesterday (5/21/23), when I looked down I saw the check engine light on. No ding, no notification of any kind. I immediately thought "what the hell", and went to my local auto store to have the free check engine light diagnosis. Turns out it is P049D code which means ERG VALVE ISSUE. I tried searching it on this forum but came up with nothing. I already contacted my local Kia dealership and plan on dropping it off to have it officially diagnosed but creating this post to give everyone else a heads up if you come across this issue.
