Well, I pulled the trigger on a JB4 for my 2023 GT.
I am also going to schedule new tire install in a week or 2. Going with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s (summer tires) Will get them installed by 4/3 as that is when the Michelin $110 promo ends.

I am getting the tires installed on new wheels. So I'll swap wheels back and forth in April and November and will use the PZero as my winter tires. I'll eventually swap them to Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus. I'll probably powder coat the stock wheels when I need to replace the Pirelli's as I am not liking the two-tone.

I'll chime back in with my impressions of the JB4. Both before and after the summer tire install.

Thanks. My attempt today to purchase summer tires went comically off the rails. I went to my local NTB. Asked them to price match TireRack. Guy says "sure we can do that".

First the guy quotes me Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4. I told him no, I want the Pilot Sport 4s. He said "Oh they are the same thing". It just got better after that exchange. He quoted me a much higher amount than TireRack. I'll order from TireRack on Monday as I need to talk with them to verify that the TPMS sensors will just work and not require programming. The NTB guy claimed they need to be programmed....at $120 and his sensors were far more than the ones TireRack is showing as compatible with my K5 GT. TireRack's site is showing that this is compatible:

Went ahead and scheduled my install with Tire Rack. I went through the forums and saw others had used that specific TPMS sensor.
I won't be able to report on the JB4 with the stock tires until late fall as my summer tires will get installed before the JB4 arrives.

Had some experience with this...

The aftermarket TPMS sensors will work IF their signal reaction is as quick as the factory TPMS sensors.
When testing factory TPMS sensors the scan tool "hits" as soon as you push the test button - EVERY time.

I had bought some TPMS sensors off of Amazon for my 2017 Kia Sorento and when I tested them it would take as much as a minute before the new sensors would "hit" on my scan tool - once installed, the car would not pick up the sensors and I'd get a TPMS warning in the dash. I had to replace them with factory TPMS sensors.

Your car's computer will pick up new aftermarket TPMS sensors and automatically show the tire pressure - doesn't need to be programmed - as long as the signal strength and response time is the same as factory TPMS sensors.

Thanks. Hoping it works out. I believe that I had seen someone else on these forums post about using that same sensor successfully. I'll call Tire Rack on Monday to see if they know for certain.
