Bought a 2023 K5 GT-Line about a month ago and took it a week ago to get tinted. The ceramic tint looks and feels wonderful. However, last night was the first time I've driven it at night since the tint was applied and this is what I saw out the back window. The tint looks absolutely fine, but a combination of the tint + the defrost lines on the glass are causing a mess with incoming light. I read on some BMW and Audi forums where people with steeply-sloped windows + defrost wires see this. Curious to see if other K5 users are seeing this as well.

Thanks!

Yeah, I chalk that up as being normal since the defrost wires has to be on the glass for safety reasons. I've gotten used to it over time. There's not much you can do about it unless you somehow get the whole rear glass smoothed out and perfectly level with the wires before tint application.
