Got a few new tires for my 2021 K5 GT, and when I got my car back, there was a new 8 inch scratch on my driver side door armrest black hard plastic. Like if someone keyed your door from the inside. My interior is in like new condition still so this scratch really stands out. I tried rubbing it out with a damp cloth, but it still looks bad. Any recommendations on how to fix this?

I had something similar (dog scratched it) on my GXP that rubbed out completely with Turtle Wax Luxe leather conditioner spray. In my case it worked well. Water will do nothing, there are oils and other things that recondition leather that helps car plastic as well in leather cleaning products. Looks like it may work in your case. The bottle says cleans and conditions leather, vinyl, rubber and plastic.
