Love my K5 GT-Line AWD however.....

1. Burning smell when I get out of vehicle... fluid levels look good. Some say it will go away in a few weeks.

2. With the radio off, I accelerate from a dead stop and the motor knocks/clicks when the gas is pushed. After like 35mph it goes away from the road noise but its there.. no performance issues, accelerates fine. Its not loud but annoying.

3. UVO is delayed.. takes a good minute to talk to the car.

4. Android Auto works with Android 10 but disconnects
randomly with Android 11.. Do not have Apple Carplay.

5. Trunk won't open when I stand behind it with my hands full of groceries, probably an option I don't have on my model.

I believe the smart trunk is on the LXS trim and above, which means the GT Line should have it. Make sure the doors are locked first though, it won't work with them unlocked. Then just walk up behind the car and it'll beep a few times and the trunk will open.

Ok cool thanx, I just read the car has to be locked for a period of time for it to work

I smelled what I would describe as hot plastic in mine for the first week or maybe two occasionally (not every ride). Never found any real issue and it has not happened since. Probably worked through it faster than most as this is my commuter car and I am already closing in on 3k miles after only about 7 weeks with it.

Do I need to turn this on and if so how? I have a gtline and can’t find anything for the smart trunk.

I am also getting a knocking sound when ever I accelerate. The Car had 45 miles when I purchased it. I received a full Tank of Gas. After I got low on Gas I filled up the Tank with Medium, hoping it was the Gas, it didn't go away. once I got low on Gas again I put Premium in. It got worst. I took the vehicle in to have them check it out. The lead tech says, it's the Muffler system that makes it sound like that. I was not convinced. so we took out another K5 off the lot. It did the same thing. Could this be a recall in the future ? or is this the way it will sound all the time ...
Not Happy.

I don't think it's on by default.. it's in the menu options.
