Not sure if any of you hated the amount of light the trunk put out or if anyone else has posted this but this was a cheap easy upgrade for the trunk light. Huge difference.

Nice! I just replaced the bulb with a bright LED. It’s no where near as bright as what you have though :)

Thanks. I got those bulbs you got and used them for the vanity mirrors. Now I get blinded when I open the mirrors. They are bright.

For comparison, here’s a pic of the trunk lit up with the festoon LEDs I posted above. Clearly not as bright as OPs light strip but is quite the improvement from the OEM bulb.

31mm is the OEM size. The larger one won't fit in the factory bulb housing.

since it's a pack of 6.. will it fit vanity mirrors.. or better yet.. Dome lights?

I’m not certain. The only non led bulbs inside my K5 are the vanity mirrors. The housings felt very tightly fitted and I don’t use them enough to risk scraping up the interior

I forgot to mention that you’ll replace the trunk light that’s at the top and add the two that you see at opening, there’s some wiring envolved.
Noiceee, I literally just did the same upgrade View attachment 1041 View attachment 1042

I got these to replace the vanity lights. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083J3K9Q4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They fit just fine. It wasn't hard. Just take your time prying the light assembly out.

I just received this in the mail today. Got it installed in a few minutes.

The description doesn't say anything about the 2021+ Kia K5 nor does Amazon state that it'll fit the car, but the K5 trunk light housing part number is the same one that this replaces. It fits in the space perfectly. It's currently day time so I can't exactly show you how it looks in the dark but I'll take one later once it gets dark.

Same company that made my trunk LED Strip. Can attest to their quality and brightness 👌🏾
