The USB port I am referring to is the one marked "A" and needed for Apple Car Play as the EX model is NOT wireless. Yes, for phone calls and streaming music from the Iphone, the IPhone does not have to be plugged into the middle USB port. There is no USB port for apple car play its only wireless if you mean USB port I had to convert all my usb files to MP3 for car to recognize usb that works fine but apple car play has a drop out problem Kia has a update fix if you ask for it but I have heard that the fix is only lasting about a week
Sorry you must have optional 10inch screen 8in is wireless only for carplayThe USB port I am referring to is the one marked "A" and needed for Apple Car Play as the EX model is NOT wireless. As for the "USB Music" all files are and have been in the MP3 format and were working for 2 months and then stopped, as the screenshot also shows the icon is grayed out.
KIA tells me that they have never heard of USB Music being used; as it was not only used for the Optima but that 2018 model also stored the music in its own radio storage.

Yep mine doesn't and has not worked since I bought the car. And neither do my back speakersAnyone having issues with playing USB Music with a thumb drive in the same port that is used for Apple Car Play?
It was working for the first 2 months and then suddenly stopped.
