The most useless feature (if it can be called that) would be the small trunk opening. I've found some items that would have easily fit in my Mazda3 hatchback (and would fit in the K5 if I could get it in the opening) are impossible to fit in the K5. Fortunately there is much more cubic feet in the trunk when you get items in (compared to the Mazda3 hatch), but unfortunately the opening makes getting them in difficult. Would have been great if they could have somehow made the K5 a liftback/sportback, but I still love the car.

A close second annoying feature would be the automatic headlights. Kia designed those amber DRLs to look so good, but the automatic headlights want to come on so often (even at 11 AM on a sunny day), that most of the time I leave them "off" and then have to listen to the car complain that the headlights are off while I'm being blinded by the sun. 馃槀

My '22 doesnt allow me to disable Auto Cruise Control. There are times that I like it, but it doesnt outway the times I dont need it. Hoping that a future firmware will give that option to disable it like the '21 K5 models do
Do you mean adaptive cruise where is changes speed automatically with traffic? Also, that can be disabled? If so someone please link directions!

The automatic car starter! Useless. 100 ft range!! Why even bother putting a starter on it? Can鈥檛 start from anywhere if not super close to car. Am now having to pay $500 to put a REAL starter in my car馃槨which I had already paid for one when purchased car

Yes ACC. Only the '21 is able to disable ACC. KIA must have changed it for the '22+ yrs
Actually, even '21 models can't have it changed to normal cruise control, even when the manual states that you can. I'm not sure why but the system seems very similar to the Stinger and that car model has ACC that you can change to normal CC.

As for useless features, I would say the Smart Trunk for me. I keep my keyfob in my pocket so every time I get remotely close to the trunk area, it starts to beep. I'd have to fumble around in my pocket to press any of the buttons just to cancel it. It's convenient when you want it but annoying when you don't. lol I'm always tempted to just turn the feature off in the settings.

Thanks for the correction about the ACC

Agree about the smart trunk. When my trunk beeps, i run away lol. It beeps 3 times, then it takes a second to pop the trunk. I have it down on where I need to stand for the beeps to stop.
