So I'm looking to trade in my 24 gt line for a 25 gt with gt1. Is it worth the extra money going from a gt line to the 290hp.is the gt1 pack worth it. If not I can get a gt without gt1 for about 31,500, gt1 for 36,800. Thoughts

If one is a sedate driver who always sticks to speed limits in all scenarios and situations, then the 1.6T GT-Line is more than enough. Those very reasons are why I got the 2.5T GT 😅. The ample torque means that i can carve my way through heavy stop-and-go SoFlo traffic and still barely make it to and pass by each traffic light before it turns red. Since the trade-in of my 2020 Kia Sorento EX-V6, my commute times to the places have noticeably come down. To each their own!

I'm definitely leaning towards the gt1. Think I'll kick myself if I don't get it
$4,000+ money will buy a lot of beer ! . . . . :ROFLMAO:

Yup .... and an extra 100 ponies make a very big difference in acceleration (from any speed).

The best two benefits of the GT1 package is the cooled seats and the smart cruise. I didn't think it was worth $4K though.

I do have these on my 2021 Forte GT w/GT2 (same as K5 GT w/GT1 @ $2K) and I do enjoy them.
My Forte was $24,400 "out-the-door" INCLUDING Tax and Title though.

The extra 100 ponies the 2.5T provides is a nice upgrade.

You will certainly like the considerable extra power that the GT gives you. I think the difference in price between the GT-Line to the GT is well worth the extra cost ... However, at over $4,000 for the GT1 option, I personally didn't see anything in that option that was worth paying an extra $4,000 + for.

Just my opinion.
