I've only had my 2025 GT GT1 less than 2 weeks, and experimenting with drive modes. I thought / hoped the My Drive -Smart mode would be better for gas milage. but so far seems like just using Normal is better. Will using it for a long time give any better results? or should I use My Drive for the Sport+ setting? thanks in advance for any info.

my recently purchased 2025 Kia K5 GT, which I received on February 14th, 2025. I am very pleased with the vehicle, particularly the all-black aesthetic.
I would like to offer a suggestion regarding the drive mode functionality. I believe the inclusion of two customizable drive modes would be a valuable enhancement. This would allow drivers to configure one mode for the "Smart" drive settings and another for the "Sport+" settings.
Specifically, I appreciate the enhanced auditory feedback provided by the "Sport+" mode. While I have been able to achieve satisfactory fuel efficiency in "Sport" mode, I intend to evaluate the mileage achieved in "Smart" mode during my commute this evening.

My experience has been that my GT is getting better gas mileage as it breaks in. 2 weeks is too new to expect the best mileage.
Smart mode will switch between eco, normal, and sport. Depending on how hard your hitting the gas. I have my drive set for normal powertrain and sport steering.
